Short answer: Leon Casino is an offshore brand. Its terms point to a company in Belize and a licence from Anjouan, it has no Australian licence, and the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) has formally warned its operator and asked internet providers to block its sites. This review sets out what Leon says about itself, what independent sources confirm, and what that means for your money before you sign up.

Quick verdict

Leon is a large international casino and sportsbook brand with pages aimed at Australians under leon.casino/en-au and leon.bet/en-au. Popularity is not the same as protection, though. If something goes wrong with a withdrawal or an account closure, no Australian regulator stands behind you, and your only recourse is the operator's own terms and the licensing body in Anjouan.

3.0Trustpilot score for leon.bet (1,488 reviews)
42%of those reviews are one-star
0Australian licences held by Leon
  • Large game catalogue: Leon's own pages speak of 4,000+ slots, and its Trustpilot profile says over 8,000 casino games
  • Replies publicly to about 98% of negative Trustpilot reviews
  • Help centre, FAQ and live chat for signed-in users, according to Leon's support page
  • No Australian licence; offering online casino games to Australians breaches the Interactive Gambling Act
  • On ACMA's block list since 14 February 2025; domains keep changing
  • BetStop self-exclusion does not cover it
  • Advertised bonus amounts differ from source to source
Not a regulated option for Australians

Leon can be reached and it does pay some players, going by positive reviews, but you give up every protection Australian law provides. Treat any deposit as money you can afford to lose entirely.

Who runs Leon Casino and which licence it shows

Leon's terms and conditions, as summarised in search results on 28 September 2026, name Jade Reef Ventures Corp., registered in Belize under company number 42967, with an address on the Philip S.W. Goldson Highway in Belize City. The Guardian described the operator in June 2025 as a corporation registered to a relatively small beachside building in Belize. ACMA's formal warnings name the same company.

The licence Leon displays comes from the Gaming Board of Anjouan, one of the islands of the Union of Comoros. Older listings on review sites still show a different picture, so we put the claims side by side.

Why the Anjouan licence matters

ABC News reported on 31 December 2025 that the Central Bank of the Comoros had in 2023 described several Anjouan gambling regulators as fictitious structures, and that Leon displays an Anjouan licence even though Australian authorities called it illegal early in 2025. A licence from Anjouan gives Australian players no local complaint route.

Welcome bonus: what sources say

There is no single confirmed figure. The amount you may have seen on other Australian sites, 100% up to A$1,600 plus 100 free spins, does not appear in any source we could trace back to Leon. Here is what we found on 28 September 2026:

Wagering, maximum bet, win caps and expiry for the Australian offer could not be confirmed, because Leon's Australian terms were not reachable. Our Leon Casino bonus guide goes through each claim, and the bonus code page explains why codes posted by affiliate sites are not Leon's own.

Deposits and withdrawals

Leon's terms say withdrawals are subject to minimum amounts and currency rules, but the figures for Australia are not public in a form we could read. Third-party reviews give these estimates:

MethodAskGamblersSportsboom
Crypto0 to 12 hours1 to 2 hours
E-wallets0 to 12 hours12 to 24 hours
Bank transfer3 to 5 days1 to 3 business days
Cards3 to 5 daysNot listed
Withdrawal limitNot statedNot listed

Casino.guru warns of a very low monthly withdrawal limit. Support for PayID and a minimum deposit of A$20, both mentioned on many copycat sites, could not be confirmed. Before depositing, open the cashier and the withdrawal section of the terms and note the limits. Our Leon withdrawal guide covers verification and the complaints players raise most often.

What players report

Player feedback is split almost down the middle. On 28 September 2026 Trustpilot showed:

ProfileScoreReviewsBreakdown
leon.bet (claimed since June 2022)3.01,4885★ 44% · 4★ 6% · 3★ 5% · 2★ 3% · 1★ 42%
leon.casino (unclaimed)2.5580% one-star; latest review on 19 April 2026 about a closed account and €7,000 withheld

AskGamblers gives Leon a CasinoRank of 8.3 out of 10, while its players rate it 7.3 from 29 reviews. Complaints there mention deposit limits being raised or lowered immediately, even though the terms describe a 24-hour waiting period for changes. On Reddit you will find both threads calling Leon a scam and players saying they won and were paid, along with requests for help with stuck withdrawals.

App, login and mirror sites

Because ACMA blocks keep catching Leon domains, the brand moves between numbered mirrors such as leon168.bet and leon179.bet. That is why people search for terms like "leon 107 casino". It also makes it easy for copycat sites to pose as Leon, so check the address carefully before you log in. The Leon login guide explains how to spot a fake.

There is no official Leon app in Google Play. Apps listed there under the name "Leon Casino" are unrelated, and one of them was removed on 5 April 2026. See the Leon mobile page for what is known about the mobile site, and the registration guide for the sign-up and verification steps.

Checklist before you deposit

  1. Read the current terms

Screenshot the bonus terms, the withdrawal limits and the account-closure clause with the date.

  2. Verify early

Complete identity checks before depositing so a first withdrawal is not held up.

  3. Set your own limits

Use bank gambling blocks or blocking software, since BetStop does not reach offshore sites.

  4. Keep records

Save chat transcripts and emails. With no Australian regulator, your records are your only evidence.

Frequently asked questions

Is Leon Casino legal in Australia?

No. Under the Interactive Gambling Act 2001, online casino games such as pokies, blackjack and roulette cannot be offered to people in Australia by any operator. Leon holds no Australian licence, ACMA asked internet providers to block it on 14 February 2025, and ACMA issued formal warnings to its operator in February 2025 and January 2026.

Who owns Leon Casino?

Leon's terms, as summarised in search results, name Jade Reef Ventures Corp., registered in Belize (No. 42967). ACMA's formal warnings also name Jade Reef Ventures Corp. Some review sites, including AskGamblers, still list Moonlite N.V., which appears to be an earlier or parallel company.

What licence does Leon Casino have?

Leon states it is licensed in Anjouan (Union of Comoros) under licence ALSI-202410001-FI1, as shown in its terms. A snippet of Leon's Australian About page still mentions Curaçao. Neither is an Australian licence, and ABC News has reported doubts about Anjouan licences.

Can I use BetStop to block Leon Casino?

No. BetStop, the National Self-Exclusion Register, covers licensed Australian online and phone wagering providers. Leon is not licensed in Australia, so BetStop does not apply to it. Blocking software, bank gambling blocks and Gambling Help Online (1800 858 858) are the practical options.

What is Leon Casino's Trustpilot rating?

On 28 September 2026 the leon.bet profile on Trustpilot showed a TrustScore of 3.0 from 1,488 reviews: 44% five-star and 42% one-star. A separate leon.casino profile showed 2.5 from only 5 reviews.

How long do Leon withdrawals take?

Leon does not publish Australian timings that could be checked. AskGamblers lists e-wallets and crypto at 0 to 12 hours and cards or bank transfers at 3 to 5 days; Sportsboom lists crypto at 1 to 2 hours and bank transfers at 1 to 3 business days. Casino.guru flags a very low monthly withdrawal limit.
